• WHO’S Studio 557?

557 is a small group of photographers specialising in portraits, headshots lead by photographer Alexis Chabala.

• WHERE DO YOU TAKE PHOTOS ?

  Our shoots take place in our lovely studios at 557 Studio, in Kentish Town 15 min from Camden Town, North London.

• HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

  Speed Package is 30 min, Standard package is 1hr & Gold Package is 2 hrs.

• HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I GET?

  With Speed Package, 1 final edit, Standard 2 & with the gold package 4 finals.

• CAN I HAVE MORE THAN THAT?

  Absolutely – any extras photos are £30 each in UK.

• CAN I HAVE UNEDITED IMAGES?

  The unedited gallery can be purchased for £200. (t&c apply)

• HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE THE PHOTOs BACK TO VIEW?

  You will receive your gallery of photos within 24hrs.

• WHEN WILL I GET MY EDITED PHOTOS?

  Final edited images will be delivered within 7 days of us receiving your selection/payment for additional shots, if applicable.

• CAN I HAVE THEM ASAP?

  Yep! We offer an express service for £20 per image where you will receive the images in 1 or 2 working days after the payment is received. (subject to availability) 

• CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?

  Photos – We find from past experience having more than one person in the studio can be distracting. So they’re more than welcome to wait for you downstairs in the cafe nearby. They’ll get 10% discount

• IS THERE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?

  No – Unfortunately there’s no wheelchair access

• IS THERE A TOILET THERE?

  Of course – You’ll have access to a communal toilet located on the floor above where the studios are.

• WHAT ABOUT COFFEE/FOOD?

  If you have time to spare before your session or simply fancy a nibble afterwards, there’s a wonderful cafe just next door. There are lots of cafe’s and restaurant’s including Mc Donalds, Gails and Pret' A Manger on the High Street 5 min walks away.

• HOW DO I PAY?

  Within 24hrs of making your booking, we require a deposit via stripe payment. The remaining balance is then required 72hours before your shoot.

• HELP, I’M REALLY NERVOUS!

  No worries at all! At 557, we completely understand how intimidating it can feel to step in front of the camera—especially if it's your first time. The good news? Our team consists of professional photographers with years of experience working with people who feel nervous or unsure about being photographed.

  We’re experts at creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere to help you feel at ease. Your comfort is our priority, and we’ll guide you every step of the way to make sure you enjoy the experience and love the results.

• WHICH PACKAGE SHOULD I GET?

  This is totally up to you and how many final edits you’d like and how many looks you want to do. Most people choose our standard package. However if you’re in a rush our Speedy package will be more than convenient. If you are wanting to multiple hair/make up changes, then we’d recommend the Gold Package so you aren’t rushing.

• CAN I Request a longer session and more images?

  Absolutely – we offer a custom packages – contact us for pricing.

• DO YOU DO OUTDOOR AND INDOOR SHOTS?

  We only shoot indoors at our studio. However we can we offer an indoor shoot at your favourite location – contact us for pricing.

• DO YOU SHOOT NON-ACTORS?

  We do indeed. Whether you’re a comedian, casting director, influencer or want more of a corporate shot for your job/business – we’ve got you covered.

• CAN I CHAT ABOUT WHAT I WANT TO ACHIEVE FROM THE SESSION?

  Definitely, at the start of each session you and your assigned photographer will have a good chat to make sure you’re both on the same page. Also throughout the session, they will show you what the photos are looking like to make sure you’re happy. It helps if you bring references of shots you like from our website/instagram. Then we can work together to achieve those looks.

• ARE THERE FACILITIES TO DO MAKE-UP/ HAIR?

  We advise to come to your shoot with your makeup and hair done as it will take away from the photography capture time, however we’re aware sometimes you may need to re-touch etc. Within the studios there are changing areas with mirrors for this. You can bring a make up artist with you, but please bear in mind, that our package shooting time, is for shooting so any make up will need to be done before the shoot and they can do touch ups throughout the session.

• WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE/ CANCEL?

  You can reschedule ONCE up to 72hours before your shoot without losing your deposit. Deposits are none-refundable. If you cancel within 72hours a new deposit will be required. If you cancel within 24hours of the shoot the full fee will be charged.

• Can I request a re-edit of my final images?

  Our editors will apply the clean modern editorial 557 style, as showcased on our website and social media (which we hope is one of the reasons you chose us). We will also strive to follow any specific instructions provided by our clients when submitting their preferences. If clients request a review of certain elements, we will re-edit them once at no additional cost. Further re-edit requests beyond this initial revision will incur a fee.
